Canterbury Software Summit 2012

Join the Canterbury Software Cluster for another spectacular half day conference and networking event. Our theme “from Startup to Global” will encapsulate the journey of many successful and aspiring technology leaders, and with three streams of insightful and inspiring presentations, there will be something for everyone – from innovators and entrepreneurs to managers and developers:
KEYNOTE: Jonty Kelt, CEO and co-founder of Group Commerce Group Commerce helps media companies enter the world of e-commerce through their white-label software platform. The company has enjoyed 30% growth in month-to-month revenues and its recent investment announcements have enjoyed massive attention in the US business media, including Fox Business TV, the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Radio show and mentions in Xconomy and CNN Money. Jonty previously founded Europe’s first internet affiliate network Magic Button and led DoubleClick’s search technology and services business in Europe and Asia. In association with the Canterbury Software Cluster the University Commercialisation Offices of New Zealand (UCONZ) will again be hosting the evening networking event and display to showcase the latest and greatest research capabilities and innovations coming out of academia. Feedback from all sides after last year’s function was outstanding. The event opens at 11.45am with the main programme kicking off at 12.15pm, and runs through to 5:30pm in the evening, this is followed by the UCONZ sponsored networking event from 5.30 – 8pm. Light lunch, refreshments, drinks and nibbles and Wi-Fi will be provided. Registration is free for Canterbury Software Cluster and UCONZ members, $95 for non-members (or for more value you can join the Cluster with a one-year individual membership for $86.25). In 2011 the Canterbury Software Summit was the biggest ever with nearly 500 delegates, and feedback indicated attendees went away motivated, informed and excited with an injection of new world class ideas. This year aims to be even bigger – you can’t afford to miss it!
