Engaging with multinationals: perspectives from ex-Oracle MD Peter Idoine

Peter has wide technology industry knowledge with experience in IBM UK, IBM New Zealand, Sun Microsystems NZ  and Oracle NZ.  He has worked in many of the Tech Sector disciplines – from proprietary to Open systems, from perpetual licensing to subscription licensing, from Waterfall development to agile.

His role changed as the industry changed through scientific developments, mergers, acquisitions and the world-wide availability of data. Peter is now delighted to be changing his own working model as he moves from Managing Director into an investor and mentor for the NZ technology industry.

Prepared to share some gold nuggets of experience with us as he makes this transition, Peter will provide us with his take on the software/technology industry and war-stories of what not to do.
