Export success: Catalyst IT’s journey from Wellington to Brighton, UK
November 12, 2013 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Don Christie is one of the founders and owners of Australasia’s largest open source company, Catalyst IT. He was President of the New Zealand Open Source Society for three years and has a depth of experience in designing and delivering free and open source enterprise class solutions to a range of customers. Don is a strong advocate for Kiwi-owned digital businesses and is currently co-chair of an organisation that represents this sector, NZRise.
He will share the story of Catalyst IT’s international expansion, from setting up in London, Reading and Brighton to applying for and maximising NZTE grants. Learn from someone who’s ‘been there and done that’ when it comes to getting started in the UK market.
UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) signed on as a sponsor with the NZSA earlier this year and is a great resource for technology companies looking to launch into the market.
