Indecision, groupthink, and brain farts
February 11, 2020 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm

All too often, important decisions end up becoming a leap of faith, a painful process, or procrastinated until they go away. Decisions are central to every aspect of a business, from customers deciding to buy, to employees performing their tasks, and leaders committing to strategies.
Over the last 25 years Roger has worked with dozens of technology companies and mentored hundreds of start-ups, as they undertake significant change. Common decision-making patterns and behaviours have emerged – both good and bad. These are backed up by science and can become effective tools for good decision making.
Join us as Roger explores the science and art of effective decision making, and shares lessons learnt from the front-line of strategy execution.
Roger Ford is the President of the NZ Software Association, Founder of Innovise, and is the Manager of Business Solutions for Datacom. He has played a leading role in substantially growing eleven organisations, as well as some that haven’t!
