Realising the dream: The INRO Technologies story with founder Andrew Graham
April 9, 2013 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Andrew Graham has packed a lot of learning into a few short years. Having left The University of Auckland with a BE (hons) in Mechatronics in 2004 he set up INRO Technologies which then went about changing the face of warehouse automation with its robotic forklift technology. Having won the Spark Entrepreneur Challenge in 2005, the Gen-i Start up of the year in 2008 and being named as Hi-Tech Awards young achiever of the year in 2009, Andrew sold INRO Technologies last year to a US headquartered forklift OEM company employing 9000 staff globally.
In the midst of all of this he completed a PhD in Engineering in 2009, publishing 11 international papers and 10 patents in his field. He has experienced the full extent of the start-up journey from founding through to exit and all of the business and technical challenges along the way. He is now looking for his ‘next big adventure’ and is happy to share his story to help others on their journey.
We promise that you will be entertained, inspired and learn just how he managed to pack it all into a working week.
