Carmen Vicelich is an extraordinary entrepreneur and a self-confessed ‘data-tech geek’ who breaks the mould. There is probably no-one in New Zealand more knowledgeable about big data. Carmen is passionate about helping businesses deliver innovation and game-changing value through the power of technology and data.

As founder and CEO of two multi award-winning companies, Data Insight and Valocity, Carmen knows how to develop agile analytics and data strategies to become data driven.

Carmen’s unrelenting focus, determination and entrepreneurial ability is widely recognised. She was a finalist in the 2016 ‘Women of Influence’ awards. In 2015 she won the Auckland University Business School’s ‘Entrepreneur’s Challenge’ and was a finalist in the ‘EY Entrepreneur of the Year’ awards.

Data Insight and Valocity have won a host of technology, innovation and marketing awards. Valocity took out the top honours for IT and digital transformation at the 2017 CIO Awards. To aid further growth into the Australian market, Valocity was awarded a R&D Growth Grant by Callaghan Innovation in 2017.
