Danu Abeysuriya is the Founder and CTO of Rush Digital, one of New Zealand’s most innovative and respected digital design and engineering studios. Danu founded Rush Digital in 2010 at the tender age of 24. Danu is recognised as a technical innovator, entrepreneur and leader in technology.
In 2016, Danu was the well-deserved winner of the Hi-Tech Young Achiever Award. In 2017 he was one of the People’s Choice winners for Most Creative in digital/data for Idealog and Accenture’s Most Creative People. Danu is one of the rare few tech gurus around who can explain big, hairy concepts like computer vision in layman’s terms. Since starting in 2010, Rush Digital has enjoyed phenomenal success, as it pushes the boundaries in engineering, innovation and creativity.
