Reaping what you sow – the CropLogic story – 2012 SmartCamp Winner
July 9, 2013 @ 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm
Jane Hill is the CEO of CropLogic – winner of the IBM Global Entrepreneur Program, Australian and New Zealand SmartCamp in 2012.
CropLogic was established in late 2010 as a spin-out from the New Zealand Institute of Plant and Food Research following an investment round led by seed-investor powerHouse. The company provides decision support tools to potato processors and growers, centred on forecasting. CropLogic serves clients in New Zealand, Australia, North America and China. The company is currently focused on potato crops, but has the capacity to expand into other crops such as wheat and corn, based on similar science. CropLogic is based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
Come hear from Jane Hill on her experience with IBM at the ANZ and regional SmartCamp events, and how the Global Entrepreneur program can benefit a small NZ company. Also hear of CropLogic’s recent journey around VC funding and driving business into the US market.
