Scaling Our Business With Off-Shore Resources – 10 Years On

MITCHELL PHAM is a Vietnamese-Kiwi business entrepreneur. He is a co-founder and Director of the Augen Software Group – a New Zealand technology business supporting software innovation in many sectors.

In 2015, Augen celebrate their 10th Anniversary of operating between NZ and Vietnam. Their transformational business model brings more capability and scalability while reducing risks to NZ businesses for rapid development and deployment of innovation, to harness IP and take new products to market, or to advance growth and expansion. Mitchell Pham will share with us Augen’s 10-year journey, with its many successes and obstacles, risks and challenges, and lessons learned.

Mitchell is passionate about NZ innovation and our relationship with the ASEAN region. He believes in tapping into the region’s resources to overcome our capacity barriers and accelerate our growth. Augen’s achievements have been recognised by NZ and international awards, including ComputerWorld Excellence Awards, NZ Innovators Awards and Red Herring Top 100 Awards for the Asia Pacific region.

Mitchell is an Executive of Health Informatics New Zealand, a Trustee of the Asia New Zealand Foundation, and an Advisor at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment. Internationally, he is a member of the Strategic Alliance Vietnamese Ventures International network, and an Executive of the global Vietnamese diaspora business network BAOOV.
